# Studio Terms

##### Legal

Clear terms make a calm shoot. Here is how I book, deliver and license work, so we can both focus on the light.

01

## Commissions and fixed quotes

Every commission starts with a call and a written quote covering the brief, shoot days, crew, deliverables and licence. A booking is confirmed once you accept the quote in writing and the deposit arrives.

02

## Payments

A deposit holds your date and counts toward the final fee. The balance is due on delivery unless the quote says otherwise. Travel, props and print costs are billed at cost, as agreed.

03

## Rescheduling a shoot

You can move a shoot once at no charge with at least 14 days notice. Later changes or cancellations may keep the deposit to cover crew and bookings. If weather or illness stops a shoot, we pick a new date together.

04

## Copyright

I keep the copyright in every image I make. You get a licence to use the photos for the purposes, period and places named in your quote. Wider use can be added.

05

## Releases for models

For commercial work, every person and private place in frame needs a signed release. I bring the forms; you help me get them signed on the day.

06

## Delivering your photos

Graded selects arrive in a private online gallery within 10 working days of the shoot. Retouched finals and larger campaigns follow the timeline set in your quote.

07

## Prints and their care

Prints are made by me or a trusted lab on archival paper. Colour can shift slightly from screen to paper. Damaged prints are replaced if you send a photo within 7 days.

08

## Limits of my liability

My liability is capped at the fees paid for the commission. Delays beyond my control are excluded.

09

## Local law

These terms follow the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute is settled in New York courts.
