## Terms and conditions

The simple rules for buying from Hollow Oak, written in plain words so you know exactly what to expect.

These terms apply to every order placed on our website. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them before you check out. If anything here is unclear, send us a note through the contact form and we will happily explain. We are Hollow Oak, based in Hudson, New York, selling furniture and homeware made by our partner workshops.

### Orders and payment

Your order is confirmed once payment has cleared and you receive our confirmation email. Prices are shown in US dollars and include tax. We may cancel an order if a piece is no longer available or a price was shown in error, and if so we refund you in full straight away.

### Made in small batches

Most pieces are made in small batches, so natural variation in grain, glaze and weave is part of their character, not a fault. Each product page shows its current delivery time, which we confirm in your order email.

### Delivery

We deliver across the US and Canada. Delivery is free on orders over $500, and larger pieces are carried in and placed in the room you choose. Someone needs to be home to receive them, and we will agree a delivery window with you in advance.

### Returns and refunds

You have 60 days from delivery to return any piece that is unused and in its original condition, including sale items. Our Refund and Returns Policy explains how to start a return and when your money comes back.

### Our 10-year warranty

Every oak frame we sell is covered for ten years against faults in materials and workmanship. If a joint loosens or a leg fails in normal use, we repair or replace it. The warranty does not cover wear, accidents or damage from misuse.

### Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account password safe and for the details you give us being accurate. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

### Our content

The words, photos and designs on this site belong to Hollow Oak and our partner workshops. You are welcome to share links and pictures of your own pieces, but please do not copy our content for commercial use.
