When this policy says &#34;we&#34;, &#34;us&#34; or &#34;Mar\u00e9&#34;, it means Mar\u00e9 Studio ApS, which is the data controller for the personal data described here.<\/p>\n        <p>This policy covers our website, our online shop, our studio in Copenhagen and any emails we send you. It does not cover the websites of our stockists, who have their own policies.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n      <section id=\"collect\" aria-labelledby=\"collect-h\">\n        <p class=\"in-num\">02<\/p><h2 id=\"collect-h\">Data we collect<\/h2>\n        <p>We only collect what we need to make, send and look after your jewellery.<\/p>\n        <ul class=\"in-list\">\n          <li><strong>When you order:<\/strong> your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, the pieces you bought, ring sizes and any engraving text.<\/li>\n          <li><strong>When you create an account:<\/strong> your name, email address and a password, which we store only in encrypted form.<\/li>\n          <li><strong>When you contact us:<\/strong> the content of your message and any photos you send, for example of a piece that needs repair.<\/li>\n          <li><strong>When you browse:<\/strong> basic technical data such as your browser type, device, approximate location by country and the pages you visit.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p>Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n      <section id=\"use\" aria-labelledby=\"use-h\">\n        <p class=\"in-num\">03<\/p><h2 id=\"use-h\">How we use it<\/h2>\n        <p>We use your data to process and deliver your order, to handle returns, resizing and repairs, to answer your questions, and to keep our website secure and working well.<\/p>\n        <p>If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send you news about new pieces and studio events, roughly once a month. You can unsubscribe with one click at the bottom of any email.<\/p>\n        <p>Under the GDPR we need a legal basis for each use. For orders and aftercare, it is the contract between us. For security and fraud prevention, it is our legitimate interest. For newsletters and non-essential cookies, it is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n      <section id=\"cookies\" aria-labelledby=\"cookies-h\">\n        <p class=\"in-num\">04<\/p><h2 id=\"cookies-h\">Cookies<\/h2>\n        <p>Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use three kinds, and only the first is switched on without asking you.<\/p>\n        <div class=\"in-table\" role=\"table\" aria-label=\"Cookies we use\">\n          <div role=\"row\" class=\"in-tr in-th\"><span role=\"columnheader\">Type<\/span><span role=\"columnheader\">What it does<\/span><span role=\"columnheader\">Lasts<\/span><\/div>\n          <div role=\"row\" class=\"in-tr\"><span role=\"cell\">Essential<\/span><span role=\"cell\">Keeps your bag, sign-in and cookie choice working.<\/span><span role=\"cell\">Up to 12 months<\/span><\/div>\n          <div role=\"row\" class=\"in-tr\"><span role=\"cell\">Analytics<\/span><span role=\"cell\">Counts visits and popular pages, without identifying you.<\/span><span role=\"cell\">Up to 13 months<\/span><\/div>\n          <div role=\"row\" class=\"in-tr\"><span role=\"cell\">Marketing<\/span><span role=\"cell\">Measures whether our adverts lead to visits.<\/span><span role=\"cell\">Up to 90 days<\/span><\/div>\n        <\/div>\n        <p>You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, after which we will ask again on your next visit.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n      <section id=\"sharing\" aria-labelledby=\"sharing-h\">\n        <p class=\"in-num\">05<\/p><h2 id=\"sharing-h\">Sharing<\/h2>\n        <p>We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the companies that help us run the studio, and only what each of them needs:<\/p>\n        <ul class=\"in-list\">\n          <li>Carriers, to deliver your parcel and returns.<\/li>\n          <li>Our payment provider, to take payment securely.<\/li>\n          <li>Our email and hosting providers, to send messages and run the website.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p>Each of them is bound by a data processing agreement. Where data leaves the EU, for example for a delivery to New York, it is protected by the European Commission&#39;s standard contractual clauses.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n      <section id=\"retention\" aria-labelledby=\"retention-h\">\n        <p class=\"in-num\">06<\/p><h2 id=\"retention-h\">Retention<\/h2>\n        <p>We keep order records for five years, because Danish bookkeeping law requires it, and so we can honour lifetime repairs on your pieces. Account details are kept until you close your account. Messages to us are deleted two years after the conversation ends.<\/p>\n        <p>Newsletter details are removed as soon as you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept in anonymised form only.<\/p>\n      <\/section>\n\n      <section id=\"rights\" aria-labelledby=\"rights-h\">\n        <p class=\"in-num\">07<\/p><h2 id=\"rights-h\">Your rights<\/h2>\n        <p>Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:<\/p>\n        <ul class=\"in-list\">\n          <li><strong>Access<\/strong> a copy of the personal data we hold about you.<\/li>\n          <li><strong>Correct<\/strong> anything that is wrong or out of date.<\/li>\n          <li><strong>Delete<\/strong> your data, unless we must keep it by law.<\/li>\n          <li><strong>Restrict or object<\/strong> to how we use it, including for marketing.<\/li>\n          <li><strong>Move<\/strong> your data to another service in a common format.<\/li>\n          <li><strong>Withdraw consent<\/strong> at any time, without affecting earlier use.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p>We reply to every request within one month and never charge for it.
