Luca Varga
Quiet in the garage, loud on the timing screen. Luca races the stopwatch first and the grid second — and the stopwatch keeps losing.

How Luca races

The stopwatch doesn't care how brave you felt. It only counts the laps you didn't waste. So I race quiet: same line, same breath, same right foot — until patience turns into pace.

Karting at eleven, single-seaters at seventeen, GT3 at twenty-two. Every step has run on the same fuel: a plan written the night before and the data read the morning after. 2026 puts all of it on car 27.
Quiet hands, loud laps.
Saturday specialist
Qualifying is where the plan meets the clock first. Four front-row starts from nine attempts in 2025, each lap rehearsed on the simulator until it felt almost boring.

Data before bubbles
Eleven trips to the rostrum and one habit engineers notice: the timing sheet gets read before the bottle gets opened.

Built for long runs
Lap thirty of a stint looks like lap three: same tyre temperatures, same line, not a single penalty all season. That is where races are actually decided.

A borrowed brush
His father painted 27 on the first kart with a borrowed brush. It has been on every car since — just a little further up the grid each year.

Car Park Laps
A borrowed kart, a supermarket car park outside Budapest and a father with a stopwatch. More spins than finishes that first year — and a notebook of braking points Luca still carries.
Log 2019
Kart Crown
The national senior karting title, then two wins in his first six single-seater starts. The lesson that stuck: nothing is decided until the final lap.

Passport Season
A Belgian junior team, a new language and seven countries in one calendar. Third overall, and every unknown circuit walked twice before first practice.
Log 2024
Rookie Front Row
First year in GT machinery: front row on debut, four fastest qualifying laps and a rookie title that taught the paddock how to pronounce Varga.

Full Cup Campaign
A complete GT3 Cup season with Kestrel Racing. One target, said out loud: fight for the title and take every backer along for the ride.
