Standard insured shipping is free on orders over $200 and $15 below that, arriving in 3 to 5 working days. Express insured shipping is $35 and arrives in 1 to 2 working days. Collecting from our Copenhagen studio is always free.

Pieces in stock are packed and dispatched within 2 working days. Engraved pieces, rings made in a half size and anything we are making to order take 2 to 3 weeks, and we email you a dispatch date as soon as your piece is on the bench.

Yes, we ship insured to most countries in Europe, the UK, North America and Australia. Orders leaving the EU may be charged import duties or local taxes on arrival. These are set by your local customs office and collected by the carrier, not by us.

When your parcel leaves the studio you receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier. Your order number starts with MR, for example MR-10388, and you can also find every order and its status in your account.

Write to [email protected] within 12 hours of ordering and we will change the size, metal or address, or cancel it for a full refund. Once a piece has been engraved or sized for you, we can no longer cancel it.

Choose Studio pickup at checkout. We email you when your piece is ready, usually within 2 working days. Collect it at Værnedamsvej 12, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00, and bring your order number.

You have 30 days from delivery to return any unworn piece in its original packaging. We refund the full price of the piece to your original payment method. Shipping costs from your first order are not refunded.

Email [email protected] with your order number and the piece you are sending back. We reply with a prepaid, insured return label within one working day. Pack the piece in its pouch and box, and keep the receipt from the drop-off point.

We check every returned piece at the bench and refund within 5 working days of it arriving. Your bank may take a further 3 to 5 working days to show the money in your account. We email you the moment the refund is sent.

Yes. Within 30 days you can exchange an unworn piece for anything else in the collection. If the new piece costs more, we send a payment link for the difference. If it costs less, we refund the difference.

Engraved and bespoke pieces are made only for you, so we cannot take them back unless they are faulty. Earrings can be returned as long as the hygiene seal on the posts is unbroken. Your statutory rights are never affected.

The easiest way is our free reusable ring sizer, which we post anywhere in the world. You can also measure a ring that already fits the same finger: the inside diameter in millimetres matches a size on our guide. Or visit the studio and we will size you in a minute.

Most rings are made in US sizes 4 to 9, and the Nova signet goes up to size 10. Half sizes are available on request and add about a week to the making time. If your size is not listed, write to us and we will usually make it.

Resizing is free for the first year after purchase. Send the ring back with a prepaid label from us, and our jewellers resize, re-polish and return it insured within about 10 working days. Some designs, such as full eternity bands, cannot be resized, and we will say so on the product page.

The Sola chain adjusts from 40 to 45 cm and the Mira chain from 42 to 46 cm, with jump rings along the way. At 42 cm a pendant sits just below the collarbone on most people. We can shorten or lengthen any chain free of charge before it ships.

Measure your wrist with a soft tape just below the wrist bone and add 1 to 1.5 cm for comfort. The Vela tennis bracelet is 17 cm and can be made in 15 to 19 cm. The Arc cuff has a 15.5 cm inner circumference and opens gently to fit most wrists.

All our gold comes from reclaimed jewellery, dental and electronic gold that is refined back to its pure form. It is chemically identical to newly mined gold, with the same purity and colour, and none of the new mining. Every piece is 14k or 18k solid gold, never plated or filled.

Yes. A lab-grown diamond is carbon crystallised in the same structure as a mined diamond, so it has the same hardness, fire and sparkle. The difference is origin: ours are grown with traceable, mostly renewable energy and graded for colour and clarity, such as VS1, F colour in the Aure solitaire.

14k gold is 58.5 percent pure gold and slightly harder, which suits hoops, chains and cuffs that are worn every day. 18k is 75 percent gold, with a deeper colour, and we use it for our diamond settings. Both are hallmarked inside each piece.

Our pearls are freshwater cultured pearls, grown in mussels and chosen one by one for lustre and shape, so no two are quite alike. Our moonstones are natural rainbow moonstone, cut and polished by a small family workshop we have worked with since 2019.

Solid 14k and 18k gold is one of the kindest metals for sensitive skin, and our alloys are nickel free. If you have a known allergy to a specific metal, write to us and we will share the exact alloy of the piece you are looking at.

That is what it is made for. Solid gold will not tarnish or wear through. Take pieces off for the gym, the pool and the sea, since chlorine and salt can dull stones and stress fine chains, and put them on after perfume and lotion.

Soak the piece for a few minutes in warm water with a drop of mild washing-up liquid, brush gently behind the stone with a soft toothbrush, rinse and pat dry with the cloth in your box. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners for pieces with pearls or moonstones.

Pearls are soft and porous, so they like to be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Wipe them with a soft, slightly damp cloth after wearing, never soak them, and store them flat in their pouch away from harder pieces that could scratch them.

Every Maré piece comes with lifetime repairs and re-polishing. We fix broken clasps, tighten stones and bring scratched gold back to a mirror finish at no cost for workmanship. If a repair needs new gold or a new stone, we quote you first.

Email [email protected] with a photo and your order number if you have it. We send an insured label, look at the piece within 3 working days of it arriving, and return it in 2 to 3 weeks. You can also drop it at the studio in person.

Our packaging is entirely plastic free: a recycled card box, a cotton pouch and a polishing cloth, sealed with paper tape. Nothing inside needs to be thrown away, and the box is sized to keep the piece safe in the post.

Yes. Add gift wrapping at checkout and we wrap the box in tissue and ribbon with a handwritten card in your words. Use the code GIFTWRAP for free wrapping. Gift orders never include a price or receipt in the parcel.

Most rings, the Nova signet and the Arc cuff can be engraved by hand with initials, a date or a short word, up to 12 characters inside a band. Engraving is free, adds about a week to making, and engraved pieces cannot be returned.
