Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, weekends 8am to 6pm, and a Friday late until 9pm with records.

Good to know
Do I need to book, or can I just walk in?
Walk-ins are always welcome and most tables are kept for them. Booking helps for weekend brunch, groups of five or more, or if you've set your heart on the banquette.
Can I work from the café on my laptop?
Yes, weekdays especially. The window bar has plugs and the wifi is fast. At weekend lunchtimes we ask laptops to give up bigger tables to groups, but the bar is always yours.
Is the café accessible?
The entrance and ground floor are step-free, with an accessible toilet at the back. The downstairs bakery isn't open to guests. Tell us when you book and we'll keep a table near the door.
Are dogs and children welcome?
Both, happily. There are high chairs, a changing table and a water bowl at the door. We just ask dogs to stay on the floor and children to stay out of the bakery.
What's your cancellation policy for bookings?
There's no deposit, so nothing to lose. We only ask that you tell us if plans change, so someone else can have the table. Just reply to your confirmation.
